I bought these after having to go to the podiatrist because my usual nail scissors hadn't coped, resulting in an ingrowing toenail (my bad).
The nails on both my great toes are recovering from fungus, and so they are very thick. Yes, of course, I made the mistake of trying to cut a large section of nail at first; but after remembering the instructions to "nib" straight across, both great toe nails were effectively and easily cut.
They were even easier on the other eight toenails, which are not bulky and thick.
I am very glad I bought these.

How wonderful to be able to deal with an ingrowing toenail. I have a garage full of tools for cutting various materials and tried quite a few but none have been as successful as this item.
