It’s a nice little piece of steel which makes it easier to remove any spurs from the edges of the nails. A fraction thinner would help but this might make the ends pliable and less effective.

I had seen this used by The Toe Bro so I decided to get one. As you get older your toenails can become a bit problematical regardless of how well they've behaved in your younger days. A handy addition to the manicure kit.

The files have been tried out and give good results. They should continue to work for many years and I will be delighted.
